Feel a bit of a fraud as have not visited for at least 37 years !!! As a youngster my father drive us north to family every summer and religiously stopped at "The White Hart at Puckeridge" where the whole family would disembark. This was before the M25, QE2 Bridge and he preferred the A1 route to the M1 to the north. Will try and call i honour of him sometime soon. I think I had my first pepsi cola here !!!

They food was excellent... and soo cheap !
